My first Website, SafeBankCollector.com, was created almost 10 years ago. At the time I was in the process of writing my book on cast iron safe banks. That first website was very helpful in that it allowed me to organize information to assist with mapping out the book. When the book finally went to print I pulled back on managing the website. It served its purpose, and in August of 2026 I decided it was finally time to let it go. If you go to access SafeBankCollector.com today it will redirect you to StillBankCollector.com.
Where my previous website was limited to just safe banks, this new website is dedicated to all different shapes and styles of Still Banks. This new site does not include company profiles or original catalog images as that information can be found online in other places. The Still Bank Collectors Club website includes company profiles on the public portion of their website. The members-only content portion of their website contains original catalog images, and the majority of those in my personal reference library are included. This new website also provides guidance under “References and Resources” to assist other collectors who would like to accomplish research to find their own information first hand.
StillBankCollector.com includes a BLOG. This is a first to me and my goal is to post something new about a particular bank, bank series, or manufacturer at least once a month. I hope that’s not too ambitious. Time will tell.
